My wife and I are of the persuasion (after much study), that man is not meant to eat animal flesh at all. In the Garden, man and animal lived in perfect harmony. It was only after the flood that God allowed man to use animals as food. Genesis 1:29 makes this abundantly clear. In addition, human physiology shows that our digestive system is eminently suited to a vegetarian diet. The consumption of animal products is responsible for most of the illnesses that plague westernized cultures. Please google Dr Michael Klaper for more information on this subject.

I cannot bring myself to eat our "Bluebelle" chicken. She survived a fox eating her two sisters and got over her injuries. She hasn't laid an egg for nearly a year since. The kids love her and all chickens should be treated this way. It is only fair.
